Traveling with your pet? The Pet Clinic, LLC can help by providing all the vaccinations, testing, and documentation you'll need for your journey. We are one of the few clinics in the Yuma area that provides this service, and our team handles travel documentation frequently — so you're in good hands.

Whether near or far, your trip is covered by accredited documentation through the USDA's National Veterinary Accreditation Program to ensure safe travels for your pet. For a preview of the specific requirements for your destination, both in the US and abroad, visit APHIS Pet Travel.

It's all in the planning — start as early as possible once you know you are travelling. The Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) process can take up to several months depending on your destination, so early preparation is essential.

Here are some of the countries we have provided accredited documentation for: Grenada, Spain, Japan, France, Panama, Ireland, Australia, Sint Maarten, Philippines, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Jamaica, Thailand, Greece, Costa Rica, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, and Lithuania.

Travelling to a rabies-free country requires additional steps beyond a standard CVI. Destinations such as Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and Hawaii require a Fluorescent Antibody Virus Neutralization (FAVN) rabies titer test as well as mandatory wait periods before your pet is permitted entry. This is especially important for military families being stationed in Japan, as this is one of the most common destinations we see. We strongly recommend contacting us as soon as your travel plans are confirmed.
